Job summary

WellSpan Hospital in Carlisle, PA seeks an Emergency Room Registered Nurse for night shifts (7P-7A). This full-time role carries a $20,000 sign-on bonus. The ER team provides acute care with emphasis on safety, privacy, and high-quality documentation.

Strong assessment skills and adherence to standards are essential. Required: Associate degree in Nursing, PA RN licensure, 2+ years ER or similar experience, and BLS/ACLS/PALS; ENPC may substitute for PALS; TNCC preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania or eligible for licensure
• 2+ years RN experience in ER or equivalent
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certs; ENPC may substitute for PALS; TNCC preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care in the ER
• Provide age-appropriate nursing care with documentation
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
• Follow physician orders and infection control procedures
• Collect specimens and perform lab testing per policy and regulations
• Prepare for admissions, discharges and transfers
• Assemble equipment and support diagnostic or treatment procedures
• Document thoroughly and accurately in medical records
