Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence Neighborhood Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Night Shift in the Emergency Department. You will assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s Degree in Nursing with active RN licensure, at least 2 years of ER experience, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. English fluency is required; a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing is required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions is required.
• 2+ years of full-time ER RN experience or equivalent.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.
• English fluency is required for effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and provide age-appropriate nursing care with safety for patients and families.
• Complete accurate, concise documentation of medical records.
• Observe and record signs, symptoms, and physiological status of patients.
• Follow physician orders in delivering nursing care.
• Maintain patients’ privacy and confidentiality of information at all times.
• Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer procedures.
• Prepare equipment and supplies for procedures and assist others.
