Job summary

Bayonne University Hospital in Bayonne, NJ seeks an RN for the Emergency Department on the night shift. The role requires coordination of care for neonatal to geriatric patients, with emphasis on triage, rapid assessment, and communication with physicians.

Qualified candidates have an Associate Degree in Nursing, NJ RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS or ENPC within 1 year. At least 1 year ED hospital experience is needed to qualify for the $10,000 sign-on bonus. Full-time nights, rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Active NJ RN license; BLS/ACLS/PALS or ENPC within 1 year of hire.
• Minimum 1 year RN ED experience in hospital setting required for $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in the Emergency Department for neonate to geriatric patients, coordinating care planning with other disciplines.
• Deliver direct and indirect patient care in ED, triage safely and rapidly, and communicate changes in patient status to physicians.
