Job summary

Wellstar Health System's Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking an experienced RN for our Emergency Department. The position is full-time, night shift from 7 pm to 7 am, with a weekend option and a premium sign-on bonus eligible.

As a member of an interdisciplinary team, you will perform nursing process, deliver patient-centered care, and collaborate with care managers to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. Minimum 5 years RN experience and required certifications.

Qualifications

• Requires active RN license and current ACLS/PALS certifications preferred.
• Minimum 5 years RN experience in Emergency/Acute care settings.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) for ED patients.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists and support staff in a fast-paced ED environment.
• Provide patient and family education and support in a compassionate manner.
• Document all clinical actions and patient progress accurately and timely.
