Job summary

Wellstar Health System's Cobb Hospital Emergency Department seeks a Registered Nurse for the night shift (7 pm–7 am) on a full-time basis. A sign-on bonus is eligible. The RN will work within an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, safe patient care and uphold Wellstar standards and governance.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and ED experience; CNs with TNCC/PALS/ACLS are valued. BSN is preferred and the environment emphasizes evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• RN licensure and compliance with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics.
• Minimum 5 years RN experience.
• BSN is preferred.
• Current BLS certification (or ARC-BLS) and RN license (single state or compact).
• PALS, TNCC, ACLS certifications as listed in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care in a fast-paced ED.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and ensure accurate documentation.
• Uphold hospital safety standards and participate in performance improvement.

Associates in Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing

Bachelors Nursing is preferred
