Job summary

Wellstar Health System’s Cobb Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This full-time night position (7 pm–7 am) offers a competitive shift differential and a sign-on bonus eligible program.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing (ADN) required or Diploma; BSN preferred.
• Bachelor's in Nursing preferred by employer.

Responsibilities

• Performs the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provides patient-centered care aligned with diverse populations and cultural awareness.
• Coordinates care and ensures timely documentation across interdisciplinary teams.
• Supports performance improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice.
• Acts as a preceptor/mentor to other staff or students as needed.
