Job summary

The Wellstar Health System Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

You will work night shifts from 7 pm to 7 am with weekend differential; sign-on bonus eligible. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, collaboration, and professional development within Wellstar's Shared Governance Model.

Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.
• RN license in Georgia (or eligibility for licensure).
• Minimum 5 years RN experience in emergency or acute care settings.
• BLS certification; ACLS/PALS/TNCC per department requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered, evidence-based care in the ED.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to ensure timely, safe care.
• Document care and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
• Support performance improvement initiatives and patient safety goals.
