Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Medina is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for their Emergency Department in Medina, OH. You will provide direct nursing care, implement care plans, and monitor patient conditions throughout the care journey.

Responsibilities include administering medications, following physician orders, coordinating discharge planning, and educating patients and families. Evening/night shifts with competitive hourly pay and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma/ADN/BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Ohio.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required upon hire or within one year.
• TNCC or ENPC within 24 months of ED start date.
• Minimum one year of acute care RN or ED experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
