Job summary

Join Cleveland Clinic Health System's Medina Hospital as an RN in the Emergency Department on the Weekender Flex program. You will work nights on a 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM schedule, delivering high-quality care in a 148-bed community hospital with Magnet status and advanced technology.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• ACLS and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required on hire or within one year.
• TNCC (adult) or ENPC (pediatric) within 24 months of hire.
• One year of current acute care RN experience and/or Emergency Department experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patients' conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
