Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Mentor Hospital in Mentor, Ohio, is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join its 19-bed Emergency Department team. You will provide direct nursing care, implement care plans, monitor patient conditions, and educate patients and families.

This role requires an RN license, BLS, ACLS/PALS within a year, and at least one year of acute care experience. The position offers three 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays, plus strong benefits and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, BSN)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• One year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting
• BLS Certification through AHA or Red Cross
• ACLS and PALS within one year of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to achieve outcomes
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families with educational materials considering cultural issues.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatment per protocol
