Job summary

Banner Ironwood Medical Center in Queen Creek, AZ seeks an experienced RN for the Emergency Department night shift. You will provide direct patient care across acuity levels, partnering with physicians and nurses to deliver safe, high‑quality care in a busy ED.

Responsibilities include assessing needs, planning and implementing care, documenting in patient records, and contributing to quality improvement. Night differential is 18% with a $3/hour weekend shift differential; comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of practice (Arizona).
• BLS certification required.
• One year of acute-care hospital RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan patient care across acuity levels.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and staff.
• Deliver direct patient care and document care plans.
• Evaluate patient and family responses to care and adjust plans.
• Provide evidence-based care and participate in education.
• Contribute to quality improvement and departmental workflows.
• Supervise staff and coordinate department workflow when needed.
• Communicate with staff, patients, and families to coordinate care.
