Job summary

Banner Ironwood Medical Center in Queen Creek, AZ, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. Night shift, full-time schedule (7:00pm–7:30am) with weekend/holiday rotation and shift differentials; self-scheduling is available.

The ED serves adult and pediatric patients with ACEP board-certified physicians. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, ensuring safety and high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in the clinical area for which they are applying is desired.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational and discharge planning needs.
• Formulate and initiate a care plan with measurable goals in collaboration with patient/family.
• Implement and supervise nursing care per physician orders and care plan.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plan as needed.
• Document assessments, planning, and patient response accurately.
