Job summary

Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Bed Tower Emergency Department. The role supports a state-of-the-art Level I trauma center and a transformative growth phase. 36 hours per week, full-time days, 7a-7p, in a high-acuity environment.

You will coordinate nursing care, apply evidence-based practice, and contribute to interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure top patient outcomes and a patient-centered experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience; not for new grads.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state where the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with standards and policies.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
