Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Carolinas Medical Center Bed Tower Emergency Department in Charlotte, NC, working full-time nights from 7p to 7a. The role supports a state-of-the-art Level I trauma center with a focus on high-acuity care and collaborative, evidence-based practice.

Requirements include completion of an accredited nursing program, at least 6 months RN experience, an RN license for the practicing state, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Minimum 6 months of RN experience; not suitable for new grads.
• RN license issued by the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and clear communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
