Job summary

HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton, FL, seeks an ER Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, rapid care in a high-acuity ED. You will triage, educate patients, and ensure accurate documentation while coordinating exams, tests, and admissions.

Florida-licensed RNs with acute care experience are preferred. BLS, ACLS, and TNCC/NIHSS/CPI within 6 months are required or targeted, with BSN preferred for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must hold Florida RN license or compact licensure.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Experience in acute care strongly preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required within 6 months of hire.
• PALS/ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS, CPI certifications within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Manage triage, screening, preparation for exam, and admission processes.
• Instruct patients and families on medications and treatment.
• Maintain and review patient records with test results.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
