Job summary

HCA Florida Englewood Hospital is seeking an ER Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced Emergency Department. You will provide clinical nursing care, triage patients, and support efficient patient flow in a high-acuity setting, collaborating with an experienced team.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, a nursing diploma/ASN (BSN preferred), and certifications such as BLS and ACLS, with additional PALS/ENPC and NIHSS within 6 months. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse or appropriate compact license with FL RN active within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• ACLS/PALS/NIHSS certifications or equivalent within 6 months of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Manage efficient flow of patients including triage, screening, preparation for exam, nursing care, and arranging tests/admissions.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patient records with test results and examinations.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
