Job summary

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across shifts. You will work with a care team to assess, perform, teach, and manage patient needs, documenting care promptly in the medical record.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient advocacy, pain management, and education for patients and families, with a focus on collaborative, evidence-based practice within our system.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required or obtainable within specified timelines
• RN license with active status in Florida
• PALS certification and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training preferred
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care in the RN role
• Perform procedures, monitor patients, and document care in medical records
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs to improve outcomes
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, medications, and follow-up measures
