Job summary

HCA Florida Osceola Millennial - FSER is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced department. You will work with the care team to implement nursing models and advocate for patients and families, contributing to exceptional outcomes and departmental performance.

The role includes pain assessment and management, timely documentation, patient education, and proactive communication with medical providers.

Qualifications

• RN license and required certifications completed within specified timeframes.
• Active RN Diploma with current state licensure.
• ACLS, BLS, CPI, TNCC and PALS certifications required or obtained within stated timelines.
• No travel required and minimum one year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management and reassessments after intervention.
• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered and documents care in the medical record.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates needs to deliver exceptional care.
• Teaches patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures.
• Educates on non-medicinal follow-up measures and prepares for future self-management.
