Job summary

St. Luke’s Health – Memorial Lufkin, part of CommonSpirit Health, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Float/Flex Team. You will provide compassionate, high-quality care, perform comprehensive assessments, and implement individualized care plans within an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Associates of Science Nursing required.
• At least 1 year of RN experience.
• Current RN license in TX, upon hire.
• CPR/BLS certification within 14 days.

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing process for cost-effective, quality patient care.
• Perform ongoing assessments and formulate goals and plans.
• Document accurately in patient records per standards.
• Provide teaching to patients and families on pain, nutrition, skin integrity, fall prevention, diabetes, discharge.
• Demonstrate commitment to patient safety and hospital values.
• Engage in research activities and collaborate with outcomes management.
