Job summary

Tyvan LLC seeks an Emergency Department Registered Nurse PRN to deliver prompt, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ED. You will assess, triage, and treat patients across all ages, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians to implement care plans.

Requirements include two years of ED experience, current state RN licensure, and BCLS/ACLS/PALS/ENPC/TNCC preferred, with fluency in English. Expect a dynamic environment with emphasis on safety and education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Licensure with the State Board of Nursing.
• English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients with head-to-toe and psychosocial evaluations; determine severity.
• Triage patients to ensure timely care based on urgency.
• Provide emergency care to neonates, children, adults, and geriatrics.
• Administer medications accurately following five rights.
• Supervise ER Technicians and other staff to ensure efficient workflow.
• Explain procedures and treatment plans to patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain infection control and a sanitary environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement activities.
