Job summary

TMS in the United States is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide specialized care for patients with acute illnesses and injuries. The role involves rapid assessments, prioritizing care by acuity, and collaborating with the emergency team to stabilize patients.

Candidates must have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and an active RN license along with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (TNCC preferred). 1–2 years ED experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license required.

• PALS certification required or preferred based on patient population.
• TNCC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid assessment and triage of patients based on acuity and clinical needs.
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, respiratory status, and changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, treatments, and emergency interventions safely.
• Respond promptly to trauma, cardiac emergencies, and other critical situations.
• Collaborate with physicians and the emergency healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
• Provide patient and family education, emotional support, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow emergency care, infection control, and patient safety standards.
