Job summary

Mercy Health in Willard, OH is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to assess patient status, prioritize needs, and implement care plans that improve outcomes.

Applicants should have an accredited nursing degree, an active RN license, BLS/ACLS (PALS preferred at hire; ACLS/PALS within 6 months), and at least 1 year of professional RN experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure with BLS/ACLS and PALS (preferred at hire; ACLS/PALS within 6 months).
• One year of professional RN experience; ED/CC setting preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Care for groups of patients in a fast-paced, high-intensity setting as part of an interprofessional team.
• Evaluate, update and revise the plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Serve as point of contact for patients' care coordination across departments.
• Provide care to a broad spectrum of patients from short-stay to trauma.
• Administer medications in a safe manner per state practice and policies.
