Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department at Tiffin Hospital. The ER RN will deliver high-quality nursing care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and develop care plans to improve outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice (Ohio)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associates or Bachelors)
• ACLS/PALS certification as preferred or obtainable within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to deliver patient-centered ER nursing care
• Assess patient status, determine priorities, and implement nursing interventions
• Develop and revise care plans to improve patient outcomes and ensure a safe environment
• Administer medications following state practice and organizational policies
• Provide care to diverse patient populations in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting
• Serve as liaison for patient care coordination across hospital departments
