Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Room at Willard Hospital in Willard, OH. The role focuses on assessing patient status, prioritizing needs, and implementing nursing interventions in a high‑intensity ED environment.

Requirements include an accredited nursing degree and current RN licensure; BLS is required and ACLS/PALS are preferred and should be obtained within 6 months of hire. One year of RN experience with ER/CC preferred is advantageous.

Qualifications

• RN license (state licensure)
• Associates or Bachelors in Nursing from an accredited program
• ACLS/PALS preferred; BLS required; must obtain ACLS/PALS within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team.
• Care for groups of patients in a fast-paced ER setting.
• Evaluate, update and revise care plans to meet outcomes.
• Serve as primary point of contact for patient care coordination across departments.
• Provide care to a broad spectrum of patients from short-stay to trauma.
• Administer medications safely per state practice and policies.
