Job summary

Emerus in Carlisle, PA seeks a capable ER nurse to assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Room.

You will apply advanced nursing knowledge, maintain privacy, follow physician orders, and document accurately in a fast-paced setting.

Qualified candidates have RN licensure, ADN or BSN preferred, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications; on-site emergency department opportunity available.

Qualifications

• Current state RN licensure without sanctions.
• 2+ years of full-time RN experience in ER or similar setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• TNCC preferred.
• PA Act 33 and Act 73 clearances completed or obtainable prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and provide age-appropriate nursing care in the ER.
• Document medical records accurately, concisely, and legibly.
• Monitor, record, and report patient signs, symptoms, and status.
• Implement physician orders and revise interventions as needed.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Prepare and transport patients for procedures and tests.
