Qualifications

• Active AZ or Compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes.
• Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balancing patient needs and comfort.
• Demonstrates accountability for ethical behavior and seeks multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Recognizes limits of scope of practice and escalates issues as needed.
• Detects changes in patient condition and responds within established time frames.
• Delegates safely based on patient status, task complexity, and team competency.

• Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.
• Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient.
• Demonstrates accountability for own ethical behavior, and supports ethical practice by addressing and/or escalating issues.
• Recognizes limits of scope of practice, seeks multidisciplinary collaboration, utilizes appropriate resources, and follows chain of command.
• Recognizes, assesses, and responds promptly to changes in patient condition within established timeframes.
• Delegates safely based on patient status, potential for harm, task complexity, and team members' competency/scope.

Job Requirements Required

• Registered Nurse: AZ or Compact state license
• Two years recent ED experience
• American Heart Association
• Basic Life Support - CPR
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support

Preferred

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)
