Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an Emergency Department RN for the Colonial Heights Free Standing ED. The role emphasizes high-quality nursing care, collaboration with an interprofessional team, and managing diverse patient needs in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and administer medications in a safe manner, while maintaining a supportive, patient-focused environment aligned with our faith-based mission.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS/ACLS and PALS certifications preferred; ACLS/PALS required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Care for groups of patients in a fast-paced setting.
• Update and revise the plan of care to meet patient outcomes.
• Serve as the point of contact for care coordination across departments.
• Administer medications safely per policy.
