Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an RN for our Sylvania Emergency Department to provide high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced setting. You will assess patient status, determine priorities, and implement nursing interventions while leading care plans and ensuring a safe environment.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree and current RN licensure, with 1 year of RN experience preferred, especially in ED or critical care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• 1 year of RN experience; ED/ICU experience preferred but not required.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred at hire and must obtain.
• EPIC/EHR training helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status with strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Determine priority of patient problems and needs.
• Implement clinical nursing interventions.
• Develop and perform patient care plans to improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with interprofessional care team to coordinate patient care.
