Job summary

Bon Secours Colonial Heights Freestanding Emergency Department is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse. The RN will deliver high-quality nursing care, assess patient status, prioritize needs, and coordinate with an interprofessional team in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include an accredited nursing degree (ASN or BSN), current RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS per hire. EPIC EHR experience is a plus; compensation ranges from $34.33 to $54.93 per hour with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program with either an associate or bachelor’s degree.
• Current state RN license.
• BLS/ACLS and PALS requirements; ACLS/PALS to be obtained within 6 months of hire; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Care for patients in a fast-paced ER setting as part of an interprofessional team.
• Evaluate and update the plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Serve as point of contact for patient care coordination.
• Administer medications safely per policies.
