Job summary

Bon Secours has an opening for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Colonial Heights Free Standing ED. The ER RN delivers high-quality nursing care, assesses patients, prioritizes needs, and collaborates with an interprofessional team in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum education is an accredited associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing and current RN licensure. One year of RN experience is preferred; EPIC EHR training is a plus. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• EPIC Electronic Health Record training (preferred, not required)
• One (1) year of professional experience practicing as an RN
• Recent ER or Critical Care experience preferred, not required

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Care for groups of patients in a fast-paced, high intensity ED setting
• Evaluates, updates and revises the plan of care to achieve outcomes
• Serves as point of contact for patients' care coordination
• Administer medications in a safe manner per policy
