Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department at Perrysburg Medical Center. The RN will assess patient status, determine priorities, implement nursing interventions, and develop care plans to improve outcomes in a fast-paced ER. Ideal candidates hold an accredited nursing degree (AS or BS) with an active RN license in Ohio and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.

One year of RN experience, especially in ER/CC, is preferred. EPIC EHR experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active state RN license
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certification preferred or to be obtained within 6 months of hire
• 1 year of professional RN experience; ER/CC experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status and priorities with strong organizational oversight
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to deliver care
• Update and revise care plans to achieve expected outcomes
• Serve as the primary contact for patient care coordination across departments
• Administer medications safely according to policy and practice
• Support a wide range of patient needs from short-stay to trauma situations
