Job summary

Mercy Health in the Dayton area at the Emergency Department – Free Standing – Enon is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our ER. The RN will deliver high-quality care, assess patient status, and collaborate with an interprofessional team during nights.

Requirements include an accredited nursing degree, active RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications or willingness to obtain. Epic EHR experience is a plus; Mercy Health offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• RN must be a graduate of an accredited Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certification requirements with time to obtain if not current.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Care for groups of patients in a fast-paced, high intensity setting.
• Evaluate and update the plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Serve as point of contact for care coordination across hospital departments.
• Provide care to a broad spectrum of patients from short-stay to trauma.
• Administer medications safely per policy and procedure.
