Job summary
Mercy Health in Perrysburg, OH seeks an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for the Perrysburg Medical Center. The role delivers exceptional nursing care, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team and developing care plans to improve patient outcomes.
The position requires a nursing degree (ASN/BSN) and current RN licensure, with 1 year of RN experience; ER/CCU experience preferred. ACLS/PALS/BLS certifications are valued, and EPIC EHR experience is a plus. Competitive benefits are offered.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- 1 year of professional RN experience; ER/CCU preferred.
- ACLS and PALS (preferred at hire; must obtain within 6 months); BLS required.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Care for groups of patients in a fast-paced, high-intensity setting.
- Evaluates, updates and revises the plan of care to reach outcomes.
- Serves as point of contact for patients' care coordination across departments.
- Provides care to a spectrum from short-stay to trauma.
- Administer medications safely per policy and practice.
- Other duties as assigned.
