Job summary

SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) seeks an Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide high-acuity care across the lifespan in a fast-paced setting in Southeast Alaska. The RN will perform assessments, administer medications, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety and quality outcomes.

Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NRP; ENPC is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in Alaska.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient assessments and develops individualized plans of care.
• Implements and evaluates nursing interventions and patient responses.
• Administers medications and treatments safely and accurately per provider orders and policy.
• Recognizes changes in patient condition and initiates appropriate interventions or escalation of care.
• Documents assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record.
• Delivers culturally responsive, patient-centered care.
