Job summary

SEARHC in Sitka, Alaska is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment across the lifespan in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in Alaska.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP required; ENPC preferred.
• Clinical competency within 3 months and high-risk competency annually.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient assessments and develops plans of care.
• Administers medications and treatments per orders and policy.
• Documents assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EHR.
• Collaborates with providers and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provides education to patients and families.
