Job summary
SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) seeks an experienced Emergency Department RN in Wrangell, AK. The RN will perform rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment of patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity ED, providing culturally sensitive, patient-centered care.
Requirements include an Associate’s degree in Nursing and Alaska RN licensure with BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP and ENPC certifications as applicable.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current, unrestricted RN license in Alaska.
- Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC; ENPC preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per orders and policy.
- Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care.
- Document assessments and interventions accurately in the electronic health record.
- Educate patients and families and assist with discharge planning.
