RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ. The role offers an Evening shift with 37.5 hours weekly and every-other weekend, supporting a high-volume ER with a focus on safety and education.

You will assess patients, administer treatments, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and document in EPIC. The environment emphasizes learning, professional growth, and compassionate care for diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Two years of nursing and/or ER nursing experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• CEN certification with comfort using EMR systems like EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize subtle clinical changes.
• Provide safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care.
• Partner with physicians and providers to support timely, coordinated care decisions.
• Educate patients and families to ensure they feel informed and prepared for next steps.
• Document accurately in the EMR to promote continuity and safety.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborative teamwork.
