Job summary

Join Cleveland Clinic Akron General’s Bath Health and Wellness Center as an RN in the Emergency Department. You will deliver direct nursing care, implement care plans, monitor patient conditions, and educate patients and families, working 9:00am-9:30pm with every other weekend and three holidays per year.

Minimum qualifications include an accredited nursing program graduate, active RN license, BLS, ACLS and PALS certification with TNCC/ENPC prerequisites, and at least one year of acute care/ED

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma/ADN/BSN).
Current state RN licensure in good standing.
BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required.
ACLS and PALS certifications by hire or within 12 months.
TNCC or ENPC certification within 24 months of ED start.
Minimum 1 year acute care RN or ED experience.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to ED patients.
Implement and monitor patient care plans.
Monitor, document and communicate patient conditions.
Administer and follow physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate discharge needs.
Educate patients and families about care plans.
