HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast is seeking an Registered Nurse for the 24/7 freestanding Emergency Room – North Channel in Houston, TX. The role supports rapid assessment and advanced emergency care in a high‑impact environment under hospital administration.

The position requires a Texas RN license, BLS/ACLS and trauma‑focused certifications, with 1 year ER experience. Schedule is 2 days per week, 7a–7p, with rotating weekends; benefits include a comprehensive package and educational support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate, or baccalaureate nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse License in Texas or Multi-State Compact.
• Active BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, NIH Stroke certifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered emergency care.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to stabilize patients.
• Administer medications and monitor patient status.
• Document care and communicate changes per unit chain of command.
• Adhere to Texas Nurse Practice Act and nursing standards.
