Job summary

HCA Houston ER 24/7 - Copperfield is seeking a qualified Freestanding ER Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver rapid, patient-centered emergency care to adults and children around the clock.

You will work a 3-day-per-week schedule (7pm-7am) with rotating weekends, joining a team of board-certified physicians and skilled technicians. The role emphasizes assessment, treatment, education and safe, efficient patient flow in a high-energy setting.

Qualifications

• RN license in TX or compact license.
• BSN preferred.
• Required BLS, ACLS, PALS.
• ENPC within 6 months of start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess pain and implement relief strategies.
• Perform procedures and document care in medical records.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and anticipate care.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and follow-up.
• Prepare patients and families for self-management and lifestyle changes.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Texas RN license or Multi-State Compact license

BLS Certification

ACLS Certification

PALS Certification

ENPC certification
