HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast’s North Channel ER in Houston, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for our 24/7 freestanding ER. You will deliver high-quality emergency care, collaborate with physicians, and follow established nursing models to stabilize patients and coordinate care.

The role requires ER experience, Texas RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS or ENPC/TNCC, with opportunities to grow within a leading healthcare system and participate in advanced protocols and on-site diagnostics.

Formación

• Nursing degree from an accredited program (Diploma/ASN/BSN).
• Texas RN license or multi-state compact; must obtain Texas license within 90 days if out-of-state.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC, TNCC and NIH Stroke certifications.
• ER clinical experience required, 1 year in ER or freestanding ER setting.

Responsabilidades

• Identify patient condition (physical, cognitive, emotional) prior to care.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate general nursing care with discharge planning for fast-paced setting.
• Carry out physician orders and assist in examinations or procedures; administer medications per policy.
• Monitor patient status, maintain records, and report critical changes through chain of command.
• Comply with hospital policies and infection control; contribute to performance improvement.
• Coordinate patient/family teaching and respect diverse values.
• Adhere to Texas Nurse Practice Act and related regulations.
