Job summary

Advocate Health Kannapolis is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. The role supports 24/7 ED operations with a high standard of patient care, collaborating with physicians, respiratory therapists, and a broader Atrium Health system network.

The ideal candidate has an accredited nursing program, state RN licensure, BLS; ACLS within six months; and several months of ED/critical care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• At least 6 months of RN experience; not for new graduates.
• RN license issued by the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of Critical Care (ED, ICU) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience through evidence-based practice and strong communication.
