Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program with active RN license in the state.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be needed by specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance, councils and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practice.
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, mobilize resources, and collaborate with the care team.
• Promote a culture of safety and ensure accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• Communicate effectively, delegate appropriately, and support professional development and ethics.
• May float to other units as needed to meet patient care requirements.
• Demonstrate growth, maintain certifications, and adhere to growth and age-specific care standards.
