Riverview Health in Indiana seeks an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care in the hospital and freestanding ED sites. The RN handles initial assessments, labs, point-of-care testing and discharge education while coordinating with physicians for discharge plans and transfers.

The role requires a valid IN RN license, ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NIH Stroke-related certification.

Qualificações

• Minimum: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse Program by date of hire.
• Two years of Critical Care and two years of Emergency Department experience.
• Indiana RN license; BLS, ACLS, PALS certificates.
• Preferred: BSN or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Triages ED patients by severity.
• Monitors vitals and medical history; maintain EMR documentation.
• Administers medications and assists with procedures.
• Educates patients on discharge and coordinates transfers.
• Collaborates with care team on discharge or admission.
• Discharges patients with instructions and ensures transport.
• Other duties as assigned.
