Job summary

Signaturecare-Emergency-Center is seeking a Registration Clerk to collect accurate patient demographics and financial information for admission and billing in a fast-paced emergency department. You will assist RNs and physicians and ensure smooth admissions, while maintaining courteous guest relations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED with at least one year of experience, current BLS certification, strong written and oral communication, and a service-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate patient demographic and financial logs.
• Assist RNs and Physicians with duties within scope of practice.
• Explain admissions process and provide guest relations.
• Review emails during shifts and communicate with Nurse Manager.
• Monitor supply needs and report deficiencies.
• Adhere to OSHA guidelines and keep the facility clean.
• May work holidays and weekends as needed.
• Submit to random drug screenings.
