Job summary

Signaturecare-Emergency-Center is seeking a Registration Clerk to collect accurate patient demographics and financial information for admission and billing in a fast-paced emergency department. You will assist RNs and physicians and ensure smooth admissions, while maintaining courteous guest relations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED with at least one year of experience, current BLS certification, strong written and oral communication, and a service-oriented mindset.

• Monitor supply needs and report deficiencies.
• Adhere to OSHA guidelines and keep the facility clean.
• May work holidays and weekends as needed.
• Submit to random drug screenings.

The Registration clerk is responsible for obtaining accurate patient demographic and financial information for registration and claim reimbursement. The Registration personnel will assist the RNs and Physicians with all tasks delegated and within their scope of practice.
