Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year of applicable nursing experience.
• Current licensed as a registered nurse in the practicing state or has a valid compact license.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient pain regularly and promote effective pain management.
• Document administration of care in the patient record promptly and thoroughly.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatments, medications, and follow-up measures.
• Educate on non-medicinal follow-up measures such as diet, exercise, and lifestyle changes.
