Qualifications
- RN license
- Associate degree or higher in nursing
- ACLS, BCLS, PALS certifications or equivalents
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course within 1 year
- Trauma Nursing Core Course within 1 year
Responsibilities
- Assess patient pain regularly and promote effective pain management.
- Perform procedures and document care accurately in the medical record.
- Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
- Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications and follow-up.
- Prepare patients and families for self-management and healthy lifestyle changes.
