Bon Secours Mercy Health Mercy Health in Fairfield is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Room on a PRN basis. The ER RN will deliver high-quality care, collaborate with an interprofessional team, and manage patient conditions from triage through discharge.

Requirements include an Associate or Bachelor in Nursing, current RN licensure, BLS/ACLS and PALS (PALS preferred, obtained within 6 months). EPIC EHR experience is a plus; prior ER or critical care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS or ACLS and PALS certifications (preferred; must obtain ACLS/PALS within 6 months).

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team.
• Care for groups of patients in a fast-paced, high intensity setting as part of an interprofessional team focused on achieving the best individual patient and population outcomes.
• Evaluates, updates and revises the plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
• Serves as point of contact for patients' care coordination throughout hospital departments.
• Provides care to a broad spectrum of patients ranging from short-stay to trauma.
• Administer medications in a safe manner consistent with the State of Practice and the organization’s policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
