Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health seeks an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for the Dayton Springfield Emergency Center. The RN will deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced ER environment, collaborating with an interprofessional team, assessing patient status, and developing care plans to improve outcomes.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, active RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications with ACLS and PALS obtained within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS/BCLS Basic Life Support and ACLS/PALS certifications (ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire).
• 1 year RN experience; ER/CC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Care for groups of patients in a fast-paced ER setting.
• Update and revise the care plan to achieve outcomes.
• Coordinate care across hospital departments.
• Administer medications safely per policy.
• Other duties as assigned.
